Eating seasonally is one of the best ways to maximize fresh flavors and lower produce prices. It also helps me develop a more mindful relationship with the food I’m eating. (Anyone else craving more warm stews, roasted vegetables, and cozy comfort foods?) All that bodes well for fall fruits and vegetables, which are perfect for baking, roasting, and simmering.
