This thick and creamy matcha smoothie is made with frozen mango, spinach, chia seeds, and oat milk for a refreshing, energizing breakfast or snack. Feel free to substitute dairy milk or another plant-based milk alternative.

2cupsfrozen mango chunks
½cupfrozen spinach
2tablespoonschia seeds
1tablespoonmatcha
2cupsoat milk (see note)
1teaspoonvanilla extract(optional)
2teaspoonsmaple syrup or sweetener of choice(optional)
Instructions
Place the mango, spinach, chia seeds, matcha, oat milk, and vanilla and maple syrup (if using) in a blender.
Blend on high for 1 minute, or until smooth and creamy. Serve.
Notes
If you don’t have oat milk, try this smoothie with whatever type of milk you have on hand. Opt for soy or cow’s milk if you want to add more protein. For an additional boost, try this recipe with a tablespoon of ground flaxseed.
