As a spokesperson, I accept payment for sponsored posts, for which I am paid in cash or other compensation. When I write a sponsored post, I always include a clearly marked disclosure statement at the beginning of the post/recipe. On social media, sponsored posts are indicated with a disclosure statement or the hashtag #sponsored or #ad.
It is my policy to only accept compensation from organizations I believe in and products I use myself. If I publish a sponsored post or product review at the request of a company/brand, my compensation will not factor into my review. If I don’t like a product, I will not review it or include it in my content.
Occasionally, companies and brands send me samples, products, or services free of charge. Whenever I refer to a product or service that was given to me, I will include a disclosure statement. If there is no disclosure statement, you can assume I purchased the product or service with my own funds.
I occasionally participate in recipe contests in which I am eligible to win prizes. My participation in a recipe contest will also be disclosed at the beginning of the applicable post/recipe.
If I link to a product or company or where to purchase the item, this may be an affiliate link. That means that if you click on the link in my post and buy something, I’ll receive a small commission. I'll include a disclosure statement when a post or page includes affiliate links.
Organizations I've Worked With:
I accept payment for freelance projects and ongoing consulting work from a variety of clients, including but not limited to food brands, media organizations, and food commodity organizations. I may have mentioned said companies and brands in previously published content, but did not get paid specifically for those mentions.
If I mention a brand or organization I am currently working with at the time of initial publishing when I am not being paid specifically for those mentions, I will include a client disclosure statement or the hashtag #client.
I currently have, or have had in the past, a monetary relationship (i.e contract, freelance work, or advertisement/sponsorship revenue) with the following organizations:
- Danone North America
- North American Pulses
